Noncarious Cervical Defects
Noncarious Cervical Defects refer to small notch defects at the gumline of the tooth which are not caused by decay. These defects can become larger over time. If you can feel these defects at the gumline, they will need to be repaired.
TMD is temporomandibular dysfunction. It refers to a myriad of ailments located in the jaw joint, just in front of the ear. If you have TMD, the most common symptoms are pain, locking or joint noise.
