Your smile can be improved using porcelain/ceramic veneers to enhance alignment, color or shape of your teeth. A veneer is a thin layer of porcelain that is bonded to the front of your teeth and becomes part of the tooth.
WHAT EXACTLY IS A PORCELAIN VENEER?
Veneers are thin, custom-made shells crafted of tooth-colored ceramic materials designed to cover (laminate) the front side of teeth. They are made in our laboratory, from a model of your teeth.
WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF PORCELAIN VENEERS?
Correctly done, a porcelain veneer will restore a tooth to its original strength while giving you a beautiful smile. They are great for correcting gaps, stains, and badly shaped or crooked teeth. Veneers placed on the front of your teeth can correct nature’s mistakes.
WHAT ARE THE STEPS REQUIRED TO GET A PORCELAIN VENEER?
Minor preparation of the teeth will be completed at the initial visit. We will record models and photographs of your teeth. After assessment of the desired color, our laboratory will initiate fabrication of the restorations. Upon completion, an appointment will be scheduled. Once you are completely satisfied, the porcelain veneers will be bonded to your teeth.
AM I A CANDIDATE FOR PORCELAIN VENEERS?
Dr. Seal will provide an assessment of your teeth to determine if this is the best treatment choice. Veneers are often the most conservative approach to changing the color, size, shape or alignment of your teeth and achieving a pleasing smile.
